I'm a bit unsure about a good way to do this or what kind of material would be good to use for texture and durability, or were to buy it, i was hoping some people here have done this and could give some advise. i'm trying to do them blue with a black stripe down the center of both sides, to match the racing seats i'm putting in the front.

Go to a interior place and see what they reccomend. That would be your best bet.

Yeah, some places will let you remove the cover you have on it now and send that to them as a template, and then they will send you back the new upolstered cover.

It's a little more of a pain, but it will save you some money because they don't have to take it off, and put it back on themselves.
