Drives: 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer es, 1989 Chevy Camaro Iroc-z Convertable



I have just bought 6.5'' speakers for my car. Its a 2009 lancer es. I was wondering if anybody could tell me the proper way to remove the door panel. I am not mechanicaly inclined just dont fell like breaking any thing. Any tip or hints would be greatly appreciated.

1 more thing. I have 2 audiobahn 12''n subwoofers. Does anybody suggest a certian kind of amp for audiobahn. Ive heard good things about soundstream.

i would stick with audiobahn systems seems to sound better when you dont mix and match, Im guessing you have the LOC already?

you mean capacitor? if so yeah. If the subs are rated 1000watt apeice does that mean i need a 2000 watt amp?

no you dont but my input would to be get a 1000watt monoblock amp (at least). depends what ohms the subs are. 1000watts is just the peak power.

I've done the front doors and replaced OEM speakers. It's quite easy. Take out the couple screws and pull the panel from the metal work gently. You'll need to then keep the panel propped up while you unscrew where the door handles fix to the inside of the panel and also remove the power cabling (mirrors and windows) plugs.
