I just recently just bought a 91 eclipse GSX turbo awd. It was sitting since 2001 and has not been touched since. When I got it home it would not start, but would crank. I checked fuel and no fuel replaced the pump now I have fuel, but still no start. No spark. Replaced the spark plugs and wire. Still no spark. Then I noticed that when I turn the key to the on position the check engine light would not come on. So I replaced it with a ecu off ebay that was newly rebuilt. Still no spark and no light. So I took the computer out of my buddy’s car which had the same matching number and still nothing. So I replaced the ignition module and then the coil pack and still no spark. I replaced the cam angle sensor and still no spark. I have tested the ignition module and it seams to be good. Also all my fuses under the hood and by the data link connecter seem to be good. Also I trick hooking up my snap-on brick computer to the car and it will not communicate with the ecu. I tested the power going to the computer and it seems to be good, but the smallest plug on the passenger side has power going to it but it is in the wrong spot according to the Haynes manual and the ground is in the spot where the power wire it supposed to be in the Haynes manual. The batter is also good it’s a new yellow top optima. I do not know where to go from here other than to the scrap yard. Please help me out with it.
