does it work if you open the panel and use a allen wrench to crank it manually?

Just an idea but, before you start fooling with it, consider that it may have bee removed by the previous owner for some sort of reaseo (perhaps it leaked, or was off trsck, etc.)
Putting a new harness on it, and using it, may cause issues, if the previous owner removed it. IMO, I would check that stuff out first, you could e opening up a whole new can-o-worms that you don't want to get into.
Just a thought.

Cool! You did your home work then.
So, I figure you have two options.
1) Buy a new harness, and install it. Quick and easy.
2) Screw the harness, and wire it up yourself using a wiring diagram. Cheap, but more complicated, and takes a lot longer.
Enjoy. :)

Well problem is i cant find a diagram or a junk yard that has it and the local dealers want a lot of money for a couple of wires with plastic on them

Get a Chiltons or Haynes repair manual. I know the Chiltons has all the wiring diagrams for the car in it. Besides, it is a good investment.
Otherwise, you may have to just bite the bullet, and buy the harness.
