I was looking through the forums for this and could not find what I was looking for, not that I seen anyway. I have got a 09 Lancer GTS. It has the sun and sound package and I would really like to put 2 more subs in. My problem is that I can not find a place to run the battery wire to the back (through the firewall, looked for an hour and no luck). Does anybody know where to run this wire? I did find a hole right beside the gas lid lever but could not find where it goes. Any help would be nice.

PICS WOULD BE NICE !!!! :)

And by the way, I do not want to cut, drill, or mod any of the factory walls, wires, panels, etc unless it is absolutely necessary.

Never mind, I found out where the hole goes and found the perfect way to get the battery wire ran without drilling or such. On the driver side front wheel, the mud flap closes to the inside floor, there is a hole with a plug in it. Remove it and you have a way in. Just run your wire down between the frame and body, down to the mud flap, through the hole behind the mud flap, and out the other hole inside. Then run alone the bottom trim (will have to try to upload pics) to the back.

Will try to upload pics.

hi all. is been some time since i had time to post cause i am right in the middle of moving and fixing up my old house, but anyway.....

i have the pics.... :) pics are of my 2009 lancer GTS and are in a ZIP file here () and at the bottom of this reply.

OK i will start with the inside of the car. under the driver side foot guard, see pic 1, by the gas door handle, there are 2 holes, see pics 2 and 3. the other end of the holes runs to the front off the car. turn your steering wheel all the way to the left so you can remove the mud flap, see pics 4 and 5, to uncover the other hole, see pic 6. now under the hood, see pic 7, you can run the battery wire down the side in between the the frame and the out side body, down to the hole behind the mud flap, through the hole inside by the gas door handle and along the foot guard to the back (still using the foot you can run the wire all the way to back seat foot guard to the trunk).

I hope this will help someone out :57:

i also forgot to say if anybody wants to make a better guide, you are more than welcome to use any of the pics in the zip file or copy/paste my post elsewhere.

also, did anybody manage to get the stock amp pin read out, and is there any news on the wiring harness for it? remote wire / blue wire would be nice :)
cause right now, i am running off the aux 12V just below a/c controls/dash. at least it turns off when the key is off. i sometimes forget to turn off switches unless it has bells and whistles attached to it...... lol
