Hello,
We have a Mitsubisi Carisma 1.8 GDI. It is reasonable mileage for age ...1999 45000 miles and has been serviced regularly. It is misfiring when warm and when under load. Just going steady it seems fine. It is not cutting out and is idling fine. I took it to the Mitsubishi garage who informed me it needs new injectors £1600 !!!!!
I was hoping it might just be plugs/leads or at worst a de- coke. It seems pretty drastic when the car is not running too badly. Anyone have any advice and or ideas
please ?
Many thanks

Hi.
Try some redex fuel injector cleaner with you next tank of fuel
[Esso super 97ron]

And you could also buy a tin of 10k boost decoke spray.
which i used on mine with some good results.
