Thank you! Well, when i open up my hood I see "4G73" printed on the block. I believe that the previous owner did a rebuild of the engine. Could this cause the confusion?

He has a 4G37. It is the 1.8L. And to answer your question, yes it IS possible, but you will have to have custom motor mounts fabbed up and run a whole new wiring harness, etc.. If you have a shitload of money and time on your hands, then go for it, otherwise, it isn't worth it. Besides, like me, you will grow to love your 1.8. Check here for some info on getting a little more umph out of your 4G37. Happy tuning! :D

It's nice to get some good information on the transition and I def don't have a lot money to dump down lol. I was actually just checking out that stickey for tuning the 1.8L it really helps out in my decision (and on gas mileage :P).
