I took delivery of my Lancer on 8/27/08. Before I bought the car, I'd seen them on the dealer lot, & had seen maybe 3 on the streets. Since I've gotten mine though, I've not seen ANY on the street!! None!! Until tonight! XD I saw a blue GTS. I thought I recognized the wheels, then I thought the lights looked familiar, but the snub nose is what told me it was another Lancer! If I wasn't in a hurry to get home, I'd have turned around & followed them. haha!

Do you guys see many Lancers in your neck of the woods?

I see a few, but not many around here. Though there is an exec for Mitsu that lives around here and had a Rotor Glow w/ projector HIDs a couple months before they we released. He drives past my house on his commute. Its oh so sexy.

There are more GTSs on the two dealer lots in this city than any other trim, but they're outranked 4:1 by CVTs..

However, I see more of them 16" wheels than 18s, and obviously I see more CVTs than 5 speeds.. so easy to spot a CVT. I've only seen two others (Blue and Black) that have HIDs, but one with a more bluish hue, and the other was just stupid amounts of blue -- already reaching into purple. That guy could barely see 10ft in front of him with that little of actual light output.. I couldn't stop laughing at him.

Anyhoo, on my ~150kms of city and suburb driving today, I think I've spotted 4 others.

I see probably 5-6 2008+ Lancers a day here. They seem to be multiplying faster and faster by the day. In fact just yesterday my neighbor got a 2009 GTS.

I work with graphite grey GTS and a co-worker has a black ES. 3 blocks north of my work, there's another blue GTS (with HIDs too), a silver GTS, and a silver ES. On some occasions, I'll see a black manual ES and a blue ES too.

And lets not forget SixFeetDeep with his Rally Red GTS.

When I first got the car, I was the only one with it... now they're popping up like weeds. I can't wait to get my projectors in... at least mine will be a little more unique than the rest.
