Sup dudes. I have an 01 Galant Es. Anyway, I bought a new radio (Sony Xplode) since my current radio has a disconnected wire or something. It randomly doesn't work. How do I go about installing the new radio? I was checking out the dash and there doesn't seem to be a way to just take out that cheap plastic wood trim where the radio is. Is this one of those pain in the ass cars that need to have the whole dash taken off to put in a radio?

Reason I'm asking is because I'd like to just put it in myself instead of paying 50 bucks for someone at Best buy. Thanks!

Also, while I'm here. Is it proper that my Galant idles at 2k rpms when started? Just checking

wasn't it more money for you because you had other things such as the amp? I'm just putting in the radio itself. Which is easy, I've done it on my honda civic, but this galant looks like the whole fucking dash is one piece
