Hi all this is my first post.
I have a 1995 LWB 2800 Shogun a metallic rattle sound is coming from the back of the car over bumpy roads, someone said on another site lower shock bushes would this be correct. Exhaust system is fine.

Hi, first of all welcome to the club.

Rattles are hard to find especially when they only happen when you are in motion. Best thing you could do is put it up on some ramps and really have a good look around. Exhaust mounts are always on the cards but it could be skid plates, suspension bushes, broken mounts, etc, etc. The list just goes on so you really need to have a look and find anthing that looks suspecious. Might be worth having a passenger go along for a drive and roll down each wndow and try and locate the approx area of the noise.

Hope that this is of some help.

Jim

Just had a brief look underneath, on the rear wheels if i bang both brake calipers there is a metallic sort of noise as there is a metal something going right around the circumference of the disk. Which it seems like when going over bumpy ground the caliper could knock on the it.
Also how would i tell if the rear shock bushes are gone?
