guess my Q. is will the 1G throttle bolt up? and should the manifold be run with th TB or with out?

yes it will bolt up. you need to grind away some material on the flange of a 2g manifold(gasket match) so it's beneficial though

is it better to use the 1g TB with the 1g manifold?

yes, but is more work because you will need to swap a 1g head in as well. the 1g manifold will not bolt to a 2g head.

it isn't hard to gasket match the manifold. there is a write up on rre's website. just google "1g throttle body swap"
