ive tried doing this on my car, and i didnt exactly succeed. the problem i had was getting the transmission-end of the axle out of its housing. i was doing it at my house, so i didnt have much room under the car to work. getting the axle out of the wheel hub is easy, you dont even have to remove the suspension. the transmission-end is really in there though. i was trying to hammer it out with a chisel, but i didnt have enough room under the car to get enough leverage. in theory, its an easy job, in practice its a little more difficult. if you need directions, get on DSMtuners and search for axle replacements. theres plenty of info on how to do it, if you still want to try it yerself.

Which part of the car then would include the plate with bolts for the lugnuts? I'm not sure what that part would be called ^noob.

QUOTE(pwee05 @ Sep 30 2008, 11:57 AM) it would be called the "hub assembly" or "wheel bearing assembly"
those won't come with lugnuts though. you have to buy those seperately
Yea lugs are no biggy but I just need the assembly then. I'll do some research to find a fair price. I'm guessing they're all mostly the same as far as quality?
