Was wondering if anyone knows of a good oil cap i do not care about looks i just do not want mine to leak oil. I replaced the OEM one with another OEM one because i read that after market ones leak anyways. I tried my new OEM one also with a gasket and fixed the little metal prongs to be more snug....that lasted about a week now its leaking out like a mad man on top of the valve cover. Another questions i have would be if i found the correct rubber grommet would it be possible to put a breather in place of that cap? I know with my other vehicle i had a breather but im assuming the oil will just pour outs the breather as well and on top of that i think that has to be sealed shut/capped off.

make sure the tube that goes from the valve cover to the intake isn't clogged/blocked and try changing the pcv valve

And replace your PCV Valve. Most of the time, that's the cause.

Wickedz, did you ever fix yours?

to test the pvc you put your hand around one of the end of the pvc and blow in to it. if you blow in to the end where the valve cover is, it should let air out. but if you blow in the the part where the hose go, you cant (its if its in good condition) but if you can then go buy yourself a new one
