Hey All.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem. When I take off in first (nice and easy), I get a rubbing sound from the front end. it seems to happen after the wheels make about half a rotation, and only lasts for about 1 second. After that, it goes away and doesn't re-appear until another cold start. Every time I take it to the dealership they can't seem to recreate it. Any ideas?

Maybe a little rust on the rotors from sitting? IDK...this could be it.

+1 does the car sit for long periods of time before driving?

Are you on the east coast where underbody corrosion can occur?

Sounds like rust on the rotors that goes away once burned off.

Next time you cold start it, look at the front rotors and see if there is alot of surface rust on them
