Better. I went from 17MPG to 20MPG with the exact same driving habits. Started driving like a normal person and now I get about 23MPG.

Please note that this is 100% CITY driving. I don't need the highway to go where I needs to!

hybrids are for people who throw paint on fur coats and ill-informed seal hunt activists http://clubs.ccsu.edu/recorder/editorial/e....asp?NewsID=188

thats just one example.

another is people going with flex fuel cars and spending waayyy more on gas to get less power and to get the same distance

i agree with flexfuel, its the biggest joke in america, outside of barack obama *cough* anyway anyone who thinks biofuel is going to take over america is trippin on something, but i think it makes sense to buy a hybrid if you do 80% city driving, but thats just me

Waiting for the Chevy Volt...

The only decent looking hybrids I've seen are:

Honda Civic
Toyota Camry
Nissan Altima

I'd still take the Lancer over any of those cars... and if we got the diesel Lancer, I would have snapped that puppy up in a heartbeat!

TQ AND MPG MADNESS!

Same here. I get around 31 to 32 MPG,but i do mostly Highway Driving back and forth to work. But if i'm late for work... and i'm hauling butt getting there it drops my MPG about them same used to get around 25 MPG if i was driving crazy... now i get 21 roughly. so if you don't shift gears at 5 1/2K RPM's and drive semi normally you MPG should go up a little... but lets face it if you just dropped 400 bucks on your CAI i doubt you will be... so your MPG will probably go down until you get rid of that lead foot and the new wears off your mod... then you'll see a gain i bet

too bad it doesnt look like the concept... and doesnt run like they originally said they would.

:offtopic: Did you see the Steven Cobert interview of Bob Lutz? He was asking if he could plug his Volt into the cigarette lighter in his hummer

It doesn't?!? What the crap... the concept headlights had me SOLD!

I haven't seen that interview, but that sure sounds like Steven Colbert to me!

Back on topic... the "new mod feeling" never wore off for me. I enjoy every firm press of my gas pedal!
