This car has quite a bit of history to it. (Skip the mini paragraphs to just get to the mods I have)

This exact eclipse has been around since I’ve been 15(now 21). I loved the car like crazy. It pulled so hard, was really really quick for it being stock. I begged my dad to let me have the car and he said I’d have it some day. I drove it around the shop almost everyday, it was hella fun.

Sure enough, my dad sold the car to someone. Was a huge disappointment, and me being only 15 I couldn’t really get my hands on one. I ended up driving a Cherokee, a old Aero Star Van (GOD I hated that car.), and then a Mazda 626. Better then nothing I guess right? (though I would have preferred a mountain bike then the van..) A few months after, I see the eclipse being towed to the shop. I freak out being all happy seeing it again, not knowing that the guy blew the motor.

When I found out he blew the motor, well what can I say? Even more disappointment. Kept asking my dad why he sold it (obviously for the money but I didn’t think at the time lol). So the car was parked, and didn’t move for years.

Last year, my dad moved his shop to another location. The eclipse went with us, but was parked on a dangerous place ( I was already in the process of saving up money for the engine). I kept telling my dad to bring it near the garage, they’re going to steal it where it was. It was parked near a rail road track next to a bunch of other cars that looked deserted. He kept saying “It’s going to be fine, don’t worry”.

Sure enough, I get a call at work with a question of, “Did you put burglar insurance on your car?” and right then and there, I knew it happened. Every single thing on the car was entirely stripped.

(Skipping a lot of stuff, gonna wrap the story up.. lol)

I had to re-buy almost everything for the car.

It went from this,

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v40/Chrispy0530/IMG00034.jpg)

To this,

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v40/Chrispy0530/P1000233.jpg)

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v40/Chrispy0530/P1000245.jpg)

And obviously it still needs a lot of work.

For those of you who have seen my previous threads, the problem is still the same. Running Rich, and Fuel Cutting at 4-5k+ RPM. It really hindered my track time. Best time I pulled was a 10.493
Heres the thread,

What I want to do with this car?

I at least want it to reach somewhere within 500WHP+ Though, I'm in no rush to get there at all. A more realistic goal at the moment is somewhere like 220+ and then 250-300. But first I need to get it running right. :P Which I'm hoping the tune will do.

12 pounds, don't have a MBC yet. Time was in 1/8th mile. So it's around 16ish I think for 1/4 mile.

that 13g is tiny. the stock injectors are too big for it especially with the 190 pump. crank the boost up to 12-15, it should help.

man chrispy if you wernt in miami, I would so do ALL your body work for free and help ya get her running good.

I would suggest if you plan on running faster, getting rid of that 13g for sure and upgrade to a walbro 255 pump.

did you still want my mookie blue background boost and air/fuel gauges? Let me know man, I am kinda hurting for cash badly

the 190 is ok for now though. if he only wants a 16g then it would be good for that too. if you want to go to a 20g or bigger then he needs a bigger pump

lol, I do. I need gauges. The boost gauge I have doesn't light up at night. But I don't really like sending cash through mail. :(

Anyway, heres the turbo I want to buy. If I can get someone to identify it for me that'd be great. I THINK it's a 16g, but I have no idea at this point. Theres no shaft play at all.

actually bud, Im good for it. Pwee sent me $80 CASH and I did a complete transaction with him on a bunch of parts. The gauges are yours if you really want them and YES They are blue led background bright as hell. I actually think they are sweet, but I never went turbo like planned. Send me a PM if you want them. My word is great when it comes to selling and recieving cash. Just PM Pwee first if you want a second opion. I would do both gauges 50 shipped and insured

That turbo is either a 14b (From the 1g MT 4G63) or a EVO III 16G. There is a serial number casted on the "snail" of the turbo. If you will, post that. It will let us tell you exactly what turbo it is.

All right, I'll post it tomorrow. I'm really hoping it's a Evo 3 16G.

http://www.stealth316.com/2-turboguide.htm this site should help. actually, this site would be helpful to anyone wanting info on their turbo.

ive got a question for ya pwee: ive been running my car with the stock fuel system on 14psi with a small 16g. does that sound like a safe boost pressure for stock fuel, or am i asking for detonation. the DSMtuner guys seemed to agree that 14psi is safe for a small 16, but id like another opinion.

bulletmagnet -- i think you're safe @ 14, any more tho and you'll detonate a little.

Crispy -- Its eitehr a 16g, 18g, or 20g. Chances are its a 16g but you really can never tell because they can be rebuilt as any of the three.

You're not fuel cutting a 4-5k rpms when you're running 12 psi on a 13g. Its def something else.

i'm willing to put money down on a bet that the turbo in that pic is a small 16g.

bullett DSMTuners and milman are correct. Like he said though I wouldn't go much higher without some way to increase your fuel pressure or injector size
