hi every one
we bought this car 6 months ago , last owner statrted the engine with wrong timing and destroyed one of the camshaft bearings and broke some rocker , and valves .
we repaired the cylinder head and started the engine but it exhales heavy smoke and this bad sound , we thought some of main bearings or connecting rods bearings are burend out but i checked them from under the car but they were in nice condition .
still we got that sound
we thought pistons and piston pin have been damaged and again we opened the engine but they were not .
here is a video of that blody sound .
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=89GEK1KV
if the sound of the clip reveales engine problem for you or you have any idea that this sound may come from where , please inform us

Have not opened the video, so my opinion below is informed only by your description and some experience with former 4D56T motors which have exhibited similar symptoms: Check the injectors...a stuck injector can make awful smoke and knocking (tin cans) sound. Otherwise I think it may be time for another motor...

Really, though when you know that the piston has hit the valves and caused so much camshaft damage (and possible head damage), you should look for another undamaged motor...too many things can go wrong afterwards.

Good luck :)
