does the ticking stop when you press the clutch?
If it does, than it's your clutch throw-out bearing (not a big deal, mine's been doing that for 3 years)
If pressing the clutch makes no difference, than it's probably thrown a bearing (stop driving it)

do you keep up on your oil changes regularly?

it's probably lifter tick. It usually gets the worst right around when you should be changing your oil, or when your oil level is low.

Lifter tick happens. There's nothing wrong with your car, per se, they all do it. It's more of an annoyance than a problem. not worth fixing, especially if you're selling the car.

check to make sure you didn't hit the "window lock" button. It happens ALL the time.

*edit* just saw the video. It sounds more like a valve than a lifter....?? Change your oil and hope it goes away.

Hey,thanks for the tips,
i did do an oil change, and it went down some, Also took apart my door, took out the window motor and the brushes are shot,so i called around over 5 places for a new one, no one had it, i called junk yard and they say they want $100
for it,so im picking it up 2m.

Thanks again for help

Also, do you think this would be a good trade
my 3000gt base 117,000 miles for an 1995 Acura Integra GSR 87,000miles ?

I want to keep the 3000gt but its getting to much for me to fix
I did this with in 1 year of getting the car

New computer put in recent
new radiator
Replaced car thermostat
Fixed exhaust leak
New tires
new breaks

If it's in excellent shape and you just want something reliable...
What kind of shape is your car in other than the tick?

Once most cars hit that 10-year mark, things start to go. Just comes with the used car territory. That's why one of the most important things to ask for are the service records.
