sounds like idle surge to me. heres hw to compensate: http://members.shaw.ca/dsm.1000q/Enginepri...hrottlebody.htmthis is a close up of your throttle body. see the screw circled in purple? thats how you adjust yer idle. turn the screw clockwise to lower the idle, and turn it counterclockwise to raise the idle. its quite simple. just turn the screw slowly, because small changes make a pretty big difference. if yer surging, i would say turn yer idle down. you can make the adjustment while the car is on or off.

well if i put that screw in anymore it dies sometimes at a stoplight, or runs really rough, so i have to run it where it is so it doesnt do that but yet it still does sometimes

whats an ISC? oh and also, I put a new Idle Switch in it from the junk yard, because i broke the connector on the old one, and i tried to put it in the same spot, but idk if it is right, and so my question is, is there anyway to actually make sure that I got it in the right spot?

Ok so i did followed the Haynes manual to check the IAC, and it seemed right, but when i pulled that screw out a bit, it ran great about 1000 rpms, and then i look at the exhaust and smoke is coming out, so i turn the screw in a bit, and then it didnt smoke but ran good, until i put it into gear, and it about died and the oil pump light came on, and then it got the rpms back up, and thats what it does at all stop lights, and then i unplugged the MAF and it ran great until i put it in gear, then it died, could it be the MAF, is there a way to check it?
