Have a 96 Eclipse RS with stock wheels and 195/70 R14 Tires.
Bought a set of 16" wheels from a 98 Eclipse Spyder. Want to put
225/55 R16 tires on them. Will they fit my 96?

If the wheels you bought are stock, they'll fit. All stock wheels that came on any model 2g are interchangeable.

They are stock wheels but they call for a 205/55 16
Just want to make sure the 225/55 16 wont be too wide/tall.

Are you lowered or something? You can fit fucking 33 inch super swampers on a RS and still have wheel gap;)

I know there's plenty of room just worried about the suspension arm brackets. The factory 195/14 70's only have about an 1'1/2 of clearance.
