I have a 88 starion. the car was running fine but then all of a sudden it started acting up. the car starts right up no problem but sometimes it revs itself up and down. when i gas it starts idleing fine. if i drive it for more then 15 min it starts bogging and it doesnt hold the boost. i cant boost because it backfires bad and it starts to bog. a got aftermarket injectors and i heard that that was the problem. its running real rich and i have a code that says its the o2 sensor. if i turn the car off and disconnect the battery and connect it again it runs fine and it holds the boost but for like 4 min then it starts again. if you have any suggestions on wut it will be i would greatly appreciate it.

thanks in advance for your help

could be air flow meter, the intake boot(between air can & turbo) injectors hooked up backwards. yes ther is a right way & a wrong way to connect them (-/+) & primary/secondary. have a look @ those first.

i would bet that your coolant temp sensor is bad. aslo a good idea is to check your TPS and reset the ISC motor.

have the timming chekd, backfiring is usually caused by timming/ignition not being right. like crossed plug wires.
dst. not in correct alighnment. could be a clogged cat.
