We are the only owners of the truck and I met my wife in it.

The roof has mange, the bushings are gone all around and basic maintenance is showing as a need.

Could go a couple ways with the upgrades as a theme. Going to stick with reliability and safety.

So far I have,

1) Basic tune up with plugs, wires, rotor, cap, etc. (nothing fancy just OEM).
2) Front/Rear/Sway bushings, poly Energy Suspension.
3) Shocks all around, KYB GR2's.
4) $100 Sony Stereo with a couple 4" in dash speakers.
5) Door handles, Mirrors, Gate Handle, Grill, Lights, Turn Lights.

Oil changes, tire balancing, and things like this all come in-line with normal use.

I can put 140+ miles on it in a day easy in Highway miles.

The engine is sound although the exhaust gasket blew and it is causing some issues. Going to change that out soon.

Once I am done with the mechanincs then the plan is to shoot it with the same color (Panama Green) and then some kind of Armor Spray in the bed and in the cab (going to get rid of the carpet).

After reading up here, I am still unclear on the exhaust dicussions. I know I would like to do ceramic headers (wrapped if needed or if it helps) with 2.5" out to a new cat+muffler. Not sure on the combo,... I am not looking for performance outside or mileage and I do not need for it to sound throaty.

Also looking at all the bolt on style upgrades. The ignition boosters claim a lot of things, has anyone here used one and noticed mileage increases or smoother performance?

What about the air intakes? I see that I can get a whole new intake with a nice washable filter on it,... is it all looks or does the standard air box with a K&N do just about the same?

For the interior, I am thinking of building a flip up box base with 2 bucket seats instead of the bench that is in it now. This would give me a place to 'hide' some speakers as well as storage for other things.

Anyone have good suggestions on some confortable bucks with a low mount depth? The more 'box' I can build up under them the better.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for mileage/light performance/reliability upgrades then I am all ears.
