Hello

I got a speeding ticket for going 125 mph in my tired 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. I wasn't tracked by a radar gun or paced by the police. I know wasn't going that fast and am sure my car couldn't reach that speed on a level road.

Does anyone know what the speed and/or rev limiter settings are for a stock 1998 mitsubishi eclipse RS. I've called the mitsubishicars.com, ECU remanufacturers and AEM retailers with no luck. I would great appreciate any information.

Thanks

On an auto, you are lucky to crack 100, on a standard, like 110. BUT, you need to call the courthouse and take a good look at your ticket. If it doesn't say he paced you or he didnt use a radar gun, most states will throw it out.

I have a standard and the engine is tired. I'll check my ticket.

Thanks for the advice.

Well, that's still under what he has on the ticket. And, they are drag limited. No speed limiters on it.
