Ok, thank you very much the informations :D
it will get the 98oct. petrol . The Yokohama summer tires is great ? Now the biggest problem with car is the size of the trunk, it is really small !!
i will get the Outlander turbo next month :) :)

"I’ve also noticed a few times the fuel cut has kicked in when accelerating hard, that’s annoying " our 8G Galant do the same thing

Yep, trunksize isn't that much to brag about, but my kids are big now so I don't miss it that much.
Yes, the Yokohama summer tires is great, good grip on both wet and dry as I see it, nothing at all to complain about.

I just drove it 440 KM, 360 of them on the highway and 80 in the city, and this time I got my lowest fuel consumtion ever, over all 1,03 L./10Km.
Highway was rather fast, 100-150 Km/h, I'm impressed

I think i will put there a 1DIN radio ( i dont like the 2DIN radio ) and in the other 1DIN place a Booost and oil pressure and oil temp gauge.
Do u have pictures about the car ? If yes please send me there : vgergo86@yahoo.com Thank You :)

Hi! I mailed you som pics of my car :) (about 900 KB)

The second 1DIN place is not used yet, but I'm sure it could come in handy when equipping the car with some extra stuff.
Right now I choosed to install the VDO Dayton GPS-NAV CD-player in "under" the trunk, there I also installed the TMC unit, just to save the second DIN space for some other option, I like tech stuff so there'll be more to come ;)

I'll take some interior pics of the car, haven't done that yet but it may be nice for you to see how things looks inside my car...

Ralliart do a nice gauge cluster that fits in the 2nd DIN space. I'd get one but for the 2 DIN stereo...

Hi!

You're welcome :)

He he, it’s hard to explain when one is talking another language, but I’ll try anyway ;)

When you open the back door (trunk door) there’s like a “lid”, a flat surface that you can lift up and store some tools Etc., there’s the space I used to place my VDO head unit.

I hope that this explaining was understandable
Cheers and have a nice weekend to all of you!

I thought I had a link to a picture of the product but here's a link to the installation instructions (hope you can read Japanese)

http://www.poweraxel.com/ralliart/catalogu.../1din_meter.pdf

Here's another useful site in Singapore but they don't show the gauges for the airtrek but they do for the Evo and it's probably the same item....

But is it really a 2-din space in the outlander Turbo? I dont have mine yet, but it looked like 1 din and small slot below it.

I had to check this today, and from what I could see I'm afraid there is only a 1-din space and a small slot below.
Didn't look as if you could remove this slot without some plastic carving skills, but hey - who needs a stereo anyway... ;)
