Does anyone know the stereo code for a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse GT ? Or how to get it ? Thanks

please search, remove the radio trim. (two philips screws above the ashtray) Pull off trim. remove 4 screws holding radio in. Pull radio out to read the Serial and RF#s. Call. 888-mitsu2005 give them those two numbers along with the VIN and there you go. You can also try calling a local mitsubishi dealer and talking to service. There should not be a charge for this.

Like Givewe said there shouldn't be a charge for it, but sometimes they will charge you.

So if they mention a charge for it, there is a thread in the forums (just use the search function and type in "Radio Codes") where a member of this forum will get the code for you, he just needs what the other dealer would need and he'll get it for you.

Just another option for you.
