Hi guys,

I'm new here. I have a Mitsubishi L200, which we call it Storm here in Indonesia. Lately, the turbo has been making lots of whistling noises whenever it spools and I figured that the turbo is probably due for a change.

Due to limited resource in getting the right turbo, I need to find out the specific turbo this monster is using. Anyone here willing to share some information on this?

Here's more information on the vehicle:

Brand/Model: Mitsubishi Storm
Chassis Type: K74T
Engine Type: 4D56
Transmission: Auto
Manufactured Year: 2000
Manufactured Country: Thailand

Many thanks!

Hi,

I believe replacing the turbo with something of different spec requires tuning?
I am looking into replacing the stock turbo without any form of retuning.

Thanks!
