New member. Found the article the other day and have now lost it. The driving range has stuck at zero and I have tried to reset it by disconnecting the battery. Left it for an hour but when I reconnect, all the readings go back to the same as they were before. How long do I need to leave the battery disconnected?

I'm well impressed with my 2004 Space Star 1.9 DiD. Had a Toyota Hilux Surf before this which did about 25 mpg. Now I'm averaging about 48.

Not sure what a Space Star is or what a "driving range" is. But if it doesn't reset after a 30 sec battery disconnect it's never going to.

Battery disconnect is not usually recommended. The ECU has to relearn idle and stuff afterwards. For sure not a factory rec.

Usually these types of things are a long hold of the reset button. or combination hold button/key off on

Usually these types of things are in the owners manual.

When posting questions, the more info the easier to answer.
