I have a 2008 lancer gts automatic. i recently bought a new shift knob for it (just the knob its self, not entire shifter). does anyone know how to release and remove the shift knob itself?

Pull down on the grey piece under the knob itself. when it comes loose look and you will see what else you need to do. Basically alot of pulling!
