hi there, has anyone got any idea where to source the correct tool to remove the lock nut, or is there a easier way.

Which lock nut? The driveshaft is held in with a spring clip, remove clip,undo top and bottom ball joints, split them from arms, same with t.r.end. Undo bottom caliper bolt and slide caliper off and hub should be free.
