hey i was just wondering to tighten up the serpentine belt on a lancer fairly new model two door. do i have to take the drivers side wheel of so i can then get into the middle pulley and tighten somehting there?

*bump* ive never worked on a lancer before and i just wanna make sure if i have to take the wheel off so i can then tighten up the tensioner?

lol no. the removal of the wheel is not necessary. if its the 4G94... its on the left side of the engine bay. get in there, find this long threaded screw and use that in unison with another screw that loosens and tightens to adjust to your correct/wanted tension
