Well, I don't know about the sport version. I have a Pajero 3500 V6 and I don't need to stop. The manual says as long as I am driving at an approx. speed below 60 mph (subject to correction) I can just engage the 4WD features on the vehicle. I am not sure if this would apply to all pajeros.

if u have autowheel hub then u have to stop the first time u engage the 4wd then u can disengage it or engage it on the go
if u have manual wheel hubs and u engage them so u can do it on the go from the first time
and i think it's clear the i meen theshifting frm the 2H to 4h gear nt the 4L

Hi

If only you have the auto wheel hub locking (front wheel hub enclosed in the wheel cap), then you can do it on the go (without stopping) within speed not exceeding 100kmh (50-60mph). Likewise, disengage it. You may see the rear wheel light blinking on your gauge set, but this will stop as soon as you reverse the car later.

If you can see the manual hub turn knob in the center of your front wheels, then it's a set of manual hub, which you must engage and disengage it manually.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. I will try it at low speed and find out. (I really appreciate how helpful this forum is. Ask a question and get a reply from St. Lucia, Egypt, and Malaysia!)
