can some one tell me where the speed control senser is on a 96 gst. and if it is easy to change or not. pics would b a great help

On a manual and auto tranny its located on the drivers side of the Differential portion of the transmission

nope its not it request you to REMOVE the transmission to get to the speed sensor

It's not very accessible but you should be able to get to it take a flash light and look straight down in the space between the battery tray and the throttle body there is a wired connector that attaches to the speedo gear
