Well Guys the install went really well i think i did ok for my first time. Everything looks stock really integrated in the dash. Im getting really great sound from this thing and i havent even changed my speakers yet. Sorry the pics arent that great with a camera phone. I will take some night time pics too when i get a chance.

No, that is the 7" JVCKW-AVX710.... never heard of the 800 but didn't look for long until I found the one I liked...

I'm having the 7" JVCKW-AVX810 installed tonight and will also post pics in this topic so other people can see what the Metra dash kit looks like...

I hope Metra has improved their quality i saw reports of the kit being warped by heat. Keep me updated on how the install goes im interested in how Metra stacks up against Scosche.

damn we get ripped-off over here!!! R6500 converts into about $722!! and the trim plate costs about $110.

Have you tried Amazon.com? Most respectable places will do international shipping for a fair price.

I hope it doesn't warp from heat lol but that does sound like a possibility... I will post pictures tonight when I've had a chance to take some but if you are reading this then go for the Scosche dash kit...

The metra one looks pretty good but on mine there is a gap between the kit and the actuaql dashboard.... not that noticable unless ur raelly looking at it but I'm a perfectionist freak and like everything to be perfect lol

And it doesnt sit straight kinda hard to explain I will take a few pics tonight show people what I mean... (finally take some pics I have a few topics to post pics on still lol :P
