I went to the car meet tonight, and met with the guy with the auto Eclipse RS. We talked a bit, rolled around, and saw some other cars. Even an incredibly low Honda Civic hatch that was drifting around everyone's cars.

Eventually he left and I reunited with the other Eclipse driver I lost track of last weekend. We went over to where some other cars were drifting. He taught me a drifting technique for my car. Yes, that's right, an automatic FWD car. No e-brake involved.

I uploaded videos on YouTube. I greatly overreacted on the first video, lol.

So anyway we then went out for a bit of racing fun. I am completely amazed at what we saw during a short break. The Nissan GT-R pulled up. The driver was even kind enough to let us take photos. You should have seen the crowd instantly move over to the car.

Notice I say "learning to drift" meaning doing a terrible job but at least making a decent attempt.

With some practice with timing and speed, I could definitely do it good.

After all, that was my first time. Also it's a front wheel drive car.

You cant really drift a FWD....Its moreso skidding than drifting. Drifting requires RWD and the desire to buy new tires often. It is pretty fun though, Alot of cars have been wrecked thanks to tokyo drift lol. :57:

A Scion tC driver I know says he saw a 300ZX hit a curb with the front right tire and pop the front end of the car up and onto the tree and everyone rushed up and started laughing at him and shit lol

Anyway what you say is true, the only way I could actually drift is if I was in the rain and probably if I moved my battery to my trunk. The back of the car's WAYYYY too light to get any G-force.
