Hey all, Canadian Driver here and winter is slowly creeping up on us. I have the greddy Ti-C exhaust and just wondering what people would recomend cleaning and treating it with this winter. I'm currently using a liquid metal polish but wondering if anyone could recomend a better product??? being in Canada our roads are very salty during the winter and road conditions can be very bad so I just want to cover my ass and not F up my exhaust....

Unfortunately changing it back to factory exhaust is not an option...

if youre worried about corrosion I would just regularly clean it and keep lubed with WD-40 or my favorite "breakfree lubricant" It will coat the metal with lubricant to protect against corrosion.

The Greddy Ti-C is a stainless steel canister with a titanium tip... It's not going to rust to begin with (at least it shouldn't).

Any stainless steel cleaner will work just fine, but I think you can get away with leaving it for the winter... what with global warming and all this funky jazz, I wouldn't be shocked if it didn't even snow this year!

IT'S OCTOBER AND 75°F OUTSIDE!

hahah good call willy, thats sooo true, Its the middle of October and I was outside yesterday cleaning the car in shorts and a T-shirt.... And sounds good I don't erally like the idea of leaving it over the winter so I will definitly be cleaning it up every little once in a while just to make sure. So liquid metal polish it is... It's been doing an amazing job so far...

Just read the label to see what the polish removes and prevents. Any polish that prevents corrosion is a top choice.

You'd want to keep that Ti-C in the best condition possible now... especially now that Greddy is bankrupt.

yeah but Greddy announced it was going to continue sales in the US but close their overseas markets. Don't know really what that means for us, perhaps higher prices to make up for it.
The TC-i is a great product, just make sure you use a shop towel to rub it down so there is no globs left when you do clean it!

It was 60°F in December in Chicago last winter

And as mentioned you dont have to worry about your canister rusting. It wouldnt rust in the first place but it helps if you even just wipe it clean a little bit periodically.
