im rebuilding my 2000 eclipse 4G64 engine, that i had swapped in my 98 mirage chassis. with the new wiseco pistons i bought the hole for the pin in the piston, and the piston is off centered. the pin is suppose to be closer towards the front of the engine's timing rotation direction, while i am looking at the timing belt side of my engine is the direction clockwise or counter clockwise?

not trying to be rude, just trying to help you, but i edited your paragraph above in the quote and this is what your paragraph should have looked more like. learn to use better sentence structuring next time, or i see flaming responses in your near future. i was half tempted to just give up even reading your question. i hope that it helps you, and you don't get offended.
so here goes. i think, not exactly sure, your question was, "when looking at a year 2000 4G64 engine from the timing belt side, what is the operational driving direction?"
now i have never done a timing belt service on my 2001 4G64 engine in my eclipse, but as far as i know the timing belt side is closer to the passenger side. all engines naturally run towards the front of your car, unless of course you have a older Honda but since you don't, on the timing belt side, or front of your engine your looking at a clockwise turning side. i hope that helps you. if not please fix your question and re-ask it.
