Welcome!

(I knew it would be blue...)

You already seem to have a plan for what you want to do, so get at it. Try to do as much work as you can yourself (sans the tint, get somewhere professional for that with a warranty). I'd lose the drop-in though and go with something more substantial, though.

.. have you noticed low speed shifts from first into second don't have a smooth mesh? or sometimes first "pops" out of gear when you go into neutral under movement?

Agreed, I wouldn't go with a drop-in. Maybe a nice CAI or SRI would be a better choice??? Anyways welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy your car. Also agreeing again with the tinting (get a warranty). Other suggestions I would have depending how far you want to go; Black out the front, evo x style license plate, system and or new speakers/tweeters, new deck (if you didn't get the nav package), exhaust...
Most of these mods can be done pretty cheap if you do it yourself...

Also before I forget if you care about your paint job get 3M stoneguarding immediately

my wife works a best buy and gets 50 to 60% off audio. there a place down the street from my house that will tint for $190, 30%on all windows and limo in the back. im thinkin the greedy ti-c axel back, and progress lowering springs. what is a good SRI?

an Injen or AEM cold air intake. They're more expensive and involved in the installation, but the results are more dramatic. They do increase intake volume, a roar not a fart. Since you're thinking exhaust, you've got the latter covered..

unless ??? was about "ftw" (for the win). it means the preceding statement should be true/the better choice. i hate "ftw".

Pulstar Plugs add a great improvement on low end power too, only $100.00 plus shipping, I added these to my CVT and they exceeded my expectations.

Seriously man...

USE THE SEARCH FEATURE

Everybody on this forum had a new Lancer at one point and we all wondered what kinds of mods were available and what were better than others. Don't you think maybe a few people have already asked the questions you have?

It's really annoying seeing the same topic pop up over and over and over and over.
