I WAS WONDERING I AM GONNA DO MY OIL CHANGE ON THIS CAR I JUST GOT IT. ITS A 1996 GALANT ES 2.4 NOW IT KNOCKS WHEN I START IT AND THEN IT GOES AWAY AFTER IT WARMS UP.

ahh the good ol' lifter tap, that tends to happen in older vehicles with some age on them. when you change your oil replace one of the quarts of oil with a quart of LUCAS Oil Treatment. My grandfather had the same problem once in a ford explorer, so we tried this method, and it help out alot. The Lucas will cost you between 8-10 bucks at just about any local autopart store. Let me know how you make out.
