well yu need to make SURE all the sump bolts are removed , and then using a small flat edge , tap it into the seam of the sump where it meets the bottom of the engine block. There is no sump gasket , instead a special glue is used to seal the sump to the pan , and its very strong and holds well.

If yu pry between the sump and bottom of the engine yu will make bend marks and open up leak issues in the future if yu do so.
