WHOA! Hold da phone!
You serious about that pwee?
Just go down and get the SRT4 2.4L injectors, and they will drop right into the 420A???
Dude, that would be BAD ASS!

yep, that's what I dyno'd my eclipse RS with because the injectors I had weren't big enough to hit 400whp.

It's a deeper tone. The low end power didn't change, but the high end power I felt a slight difference. If you pair it with a RAM air intake it will growl in low end full throttle. I tried to get a sound clip but my camera wouldn't pick it up.

The rolling idle is 2000 but when you stop it goes to 800. It's weird. It's a fun project though. You'll learn a lot. Also be wary of the TB shaft. If you don't tack some weld to the end and grind it down then it will dig the teeth out of the TPS.

Ok, that's just a gooey nasty mess. lol
Naw, no computer in bathroom.
I have a Moto-Q cell phone, and 98% of all my posts come from it (I'm on it right now, on the toliet infact. lol)
This thing is so badass, I can do just about anything on it. How do you think post, at all hours of the day? I do work after all. lol

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I am a truck driver on the road 10 - 14 hours a day, and very rarely around a computer. I LIVE by this phone.

One of my fellow employees has one of those, and really likes it.
I thouht about getting one, but they are just to damn expensive.
Yeah, mine has a smaler screen, but, I like it more anyway. Besides, I have no need of an MP3 player. I have an 8gig Zune, and it works perfect for me.

On a different note.....
I got all the stuff to do the Jeep TB conversion, but I am going to have to put it on hold for a bit. My EX-friend ran off with my Dremel, and a bunch of other tools (screw drivers, wrenches, sockets, and even a 2 ton floor jack. Notice how I said, EX-friend), and I have to get a new one.
I did however drop my oil pan today, to reseal it, and got a neat look at the internals of my motor. It looks so easy to rebuild, it.s not even funny. I could do it with the engine in the car (pull the head off, and pull everything out he top of the block).
So I think I might be doing my turbo build sooner than I thought.
WOO HOO!!
Now..... I just have to win the lottrery for the cash. lol

that's one of the reasons I always liked the 420a compared to the 4g63. its so easy to work on.

the only problem with rebuilding with the engine in the car is that the 420a doesn't have crankshaft main caps. it has a bed plate which means the whole bottom of the block has to come off

too much would be exceeding the capabilities for mounting on the intake manifold. I THINK people have gone as high as 65mm but I don't know that for sure.

if it gets too big you can simply bore the intake plenum.

yeah i am boring an intake to match the mm on the TB. but i need to know what will be the best size. i dont want to go to big and i dont want to go to small. i have bought a extra of each the TBs and a intake manifold so i can do everything and then throw it on my can and not mess up my oem just in case someting goes wrong. just need to hear some feedback on who went what size and maybe some pple who know how big is to big.

i am also looking into radiators. any suggestions.

hold each gasket up to the manifold flange and see how much material you need to remove. you can remove as much as you want as long as you don't start cutting into the bolt holes or exceed the "neck" behind the flange by too much. that will cause turbulence

ok one more question. when haveing the intake bored do they just bore the part that hooks to the throttle body or the ones that connect to the head also. never bored a intake b4.

When they say "boring the intake plenum" it is refering to the part that connects to the TB. If someone iss refering to the part that connects to the head then they usually use teh term "porting."

You can take the final drive gears out of the transmission of a '99 Dodge Stratus with a 2.0 and bolt them directly to your eclipse. It has a different gear ratio which is supposed to work better on our cars.
