Yes I kind of wish I could paint my rims a light gunmetal-ish color.

Not too dark though, otherwise I think it would look tacky on my black car.

I think he meant rims...

If so, then sure. I seen an Eclipse running around here with 3G rims on it... looked pretty nice. 114x5 I think it is...

Oops I thought he meant valve cover. I don't know why I thought that.

Anyway I think the 3g eclipse rims have too many spokes on them. Well, I don't know if the ones I'm thinking of are the same ones you are thinking of.

Tonight some fuckstain in a Mustang almost ran my friend off the road.

He drives an Eclipse GS-T, and he has nice 17" Enkei rims. While he was forced into another lane (merging lane) he bumped the curb and really took a chunk off the lip of his rim.

Luckily the damage is not substantial, really just something to cringe at first sight at. We're all really happy because it could have been much worse. If the rim was damaged enough, the tire could go, and he'd be gone. We feel blessed to roll with him now. :P

To the "friend should have known better" comment.

Because my friend was driving in the right-most lane going straight, and some stupid hick in his Mustang wanted to force him over so he could go race with another Mustang?

Even dumber than the idiot in the Toyota Tacoma who thought it's a good idea to brake check me on an on-ramp doing 70.

(Okay, I read over my post again and realized I may have not explained it correctly.)

He was in the right-most lane except for the merging lane which had no cars on it. That was to the right of him. A Mustang driver thought it was a good idea to cut him off, and he jerked sideways and hit the curb for the ending of the merging lane. Luckily he was able to regain control though.

brake checking is just stupid. i really can't figure out why alot of ppl just put on their brakes where this is NO reason to do so (ie a straight flat road no traffic no cross traffic). this is why i keep a good distance from the car in front of me should the case be that they are an idiot.

staying on topic though. today i got my new tires mounted and balanced on my new rims.

Put 251 WHP and then

Ran a 13.9 @ 105 Spinning through the finish line on 13LBS on an 18G and then

And then blew up the trans again.

And then

Trading it in for an EVO
