Nothing like ingenuity !

That turn lens is the last step in my front lighting rebuild (cleaning, rust removal, paint, new screws, Halogen upgrade) and now I've added another week -- as I said, DUMB :(! Guess I should just get back to my rear hatch cover project.

PS. Hope MAACO does a good job for you. I had to make them redo my roof twice to get it right (long time ago) -- but they finally got it :)!

from what i gather they are an easy fix but if u sand and primer the car for them and tell em to do it they can make it look sick. so thats my project for the next couple days. ill keep everyone posted on how it turns out. hopefully better then the spray paint

Sounds good, just make sure they understand you're serious. A good paint job depends not only on the prep and technique, but also on the environmental conditions -- humidity, dust (as well as time between coats). My own experience demonstrates MAACO can do a good job, they just have to realize it's necessary :).

PS. Having to do it over and over again costs them money -- cheaper to do it right the first time! However, most people don't demand it (ie. need the car back,) so they tend to slide!

hopefully bloting down the seats in a bit. but no sanding cause of the gay ass rain. and would it be smart to just have the car primered for winter and then gettin it done in the spring? cause i heard that the paint chips real easy in the first couple months.... and it puts money into makin the car more comfortable.

Speaking of wires where can you get regular wires just in a different color?

Certain brands make certain colors. As far as OEM wires.. Your only real options is to buy the boots and "recover" the wires yourself.

BTW EMC, I was leaving work today and I went outside to grab my clothes from the car so I could change, and parked right out front was a 3kGT IDENTICAL to yours! I was like Is that EMC?? Then I glanced through the window from a distance and saw what looked to be a chick in the driver's seat and I am like, "Nevermind." lol... THen it also occured to me that I was standing outside a funeral home in WV and the odds of you being there are about slim to none. XD

Odds of me being in WV are always possible, with the 3S and a girl in the driver seat still pretty high.

But right now now so much
