I've got Megan racing headers and High flow cat, with a flowmaster custom Cat back. It's got a nice deep low tone, and doesn't sound like a dying bumblebee with a severe case of gas like most ricers. If you want a good sounding car you need to spend some money on a decent muffler. Flowmaster cost me $185.90 shipped. I bought the headers down pipe and cat off of ebay. Borla makes a good exhaust, but it cost a little over $700 for just the cat back exhaust. Flowmaster sounds great, you can feel the difference, and I'm getting about 2 miles a gallon better gas mileage.

I run a Greddy 4" Muffler with a down pipe + straight pipe. I have removed my cat because its legal in my country. My setup produced TONS of power + sound.

Whatever setup you choose, I suggest saving money on the down pipe/straght pipe/CAT and invest that into a GREAT muffler. So buy yourself the best yet cheap down pipe and straight pipe and CAT. Then I suggest Greddy TITANIUM Muffler, you get stunning looks and great deep toned sound.

At the end, its all about your muffler so make sure you spend some $ on that at least!

Cheap doesnt equal power when you dealing with the 420A. I have a both Intake and muffler and they were cheap. With not much if any diff. Buddies of mine tell me that the cold air intake works and sounds better and you can install it yourself (dont forget the water bypass valve). As far as the exhaust side...I recommend Header and large diameter exhaust pipe (2" its up to you) and the other guys have some good suggestion in product. Just remember your tuning for NA so its different from Turbos.
Furthermore, do the install yourself...garages like to screw ya for money

Yup, took me 10 minutes to swap out the muffler and 45 minutes to swap the headers downpipe and Cat. The shops wanted to Charge me 3 hrs labor for the headers, which was about $210.

I am also running the megan header and i'm happy with it. DO NOT buy the hedmen chikara header. It cracked on part of the header called hedman and got the run around. Needless to say I got the shaft. So if you want quality hedman is the wrong place to go. If you live in a area that sees alot of mositure then I would not do the cold air intake.

just to remind you man....a 4'' exhaust on a FI car is GREAT, but a 4'' exhaust on a N/A car is horrible
