I was just curious what everyone prefers for their Lancer:

An all around mix of performance and audio?
Track-ready performance mods?
Sound Pressure competition style Audio work?

I was just curious because I wanted to do some suspension work, but realized that I'm planning to put a subwoofer in where a rear strut bar would go. So I figured I'd see what everyone else thinks!

it really depends on what you plan on doing with the car. do you plan on street racing or going to the track? i'm into audio, so i did that first, but realized that random civics that were stock could just smoke me at red lights. so i decided to start doing some performance (exhaust and intake) and plan on getting a high flow cat and a header. but like i said, it depends on what you like and what you will be doing...

Well, I'm the same way. I want more pickup so the random four bangers don't smoke me off the line, but I also really want a good, strong audio set-up.

I just like hearing how others feel about it.

i perfer to go around a road course faster than hearing some sound. And it makes me mad how these full size pick ups can keep up with lancers if not beat them. And when you ride in a fast turboed car that pushes you back in the seat you will deffenently want to go faster

it makes you mad that full size trucks can beat lancers? why? it makes more sense. a big v8 to a little 4 cylinder... also, do you have a turbo in your oz? if so how much did the whole setup cost you?

Performance > Audio for me. If the rear strut bar gets in the way, then you might want to get smaller subs or have a custom box made to fit.
