what size are the subwoofers. You will need an amp and also a kit to run the power lines and audio cables fromo your stereo. You may also need a seperate kit for the audio cables if the back of your head unit doesn't have RCA outs on it. It is pretty simple to install.

they are fairly easy to set up, i do a lot of car hifi work

you need:

a sub (obviously)
a sub enclosure
an amp
a wiring kit

you can get deals which include the whole lot at very good prices for basic gear and if your not sure what to buy probly the best way about it as the gear is usually already matched for power ratings n what nots

its just a matter of feeding wires through the car which if you take your time will take an afternoon, but once its all installed you wont want anotehr car hifi without a sub - its well worth the effort

well everyting gets wired to an amplifier, theres a few wires involved

main power cable - this goes direct from the battery with an inline fuse near the battery to the amp

earth cable - earth it to an earthing point on the car

remote cable - a small 12V blue wire from the rear of the headunit to the amp

RCA lead (phono cable) takes the sound signal from the headunit to the amp

once ya got that lot sorted your in business, you'll need to set up the crossovers on the map for the subs (standard setting being low pass and around 80Hz on the subsonic filter)

once this is done just wire the subwoofers up to the amps in the same way you'd wire house speakers up to your home hifi + - etc..

It is all very easy to do. I just put a 12 inch in my car and it is the loudest thing i have ever heard. Whatever you do don't pay some to do it for you. It is really easy to figure out yourself. If you have any questions you can cotact me at showrides.tk. just fill out the contact us form. My only deal is that i would like to see some pictures of it all setup when you are done with it. We need some nice ones for our site so if you would like some help and could do that for us we would be glad to help you out.
