I had this error code on my CD player and disconnected the battery to clean the posts. After reconnecting and entering my code again into the CD player I'm still getting the error code E01 or ER01......I forget. Like the person above I cleaned it and still it won't play any CD. Does anybody have a fix?....

Hi, I'm new here and have a problem with my cd changer. So I joined this forum to see if you guys know an answer to my problem.
I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Pajero with a radio-cd-player and a single-cd-player. I swapped the cd player with a cd changer (MZ312961) bought from ebay. This cd changer gives my error code 01. I tried all cd positions and several cds but it won't play the cd and ejects it after a few seconds.
