Well, I figured that if I set the date that far away, people from other places might have enough time to make arangements.
I'm also kind of hoping, that if we can get enough people to show up, we can make some other arangments to set up a summer meet, that is bigger, and do something else way cooler.
That being, a summer meet, where we all go down to Miller Motor Sports Park, on an open track day, and everybody races for a half day.
Now THAT, would be cool as hell!
So far, unless we get some other people, it would probably just be three people: Me, AOD, and you Bohman. lol
I also have this put up in the "Regional" forum.

No need to take Parleys.
Take 40 into Park City, and I-84 into Ogden instead, and then 89 south to I-15. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Well, AOD and I are going to show up, no matter what. Even if it is just the two of us, I figure we are obligated, since we both tried to set it up. Kind of like a Utah MF.com Chapter or something. hehe
For those that DO show up, one thing I would like to discuss, will be an offcial MF.com track day at Miller Motor Sports Park.
I am thnkingthat we do one more meet after this one at the end of April, to make some plans for it, and then to set up a day in late May for the track day.
I haven't had time t fully check out the open track schedule, but I know the 2009 schedule is up already.
There are certain rules that must be followed to run on the track.
Two of those being: Your car must pass a safety inspection administered by track officials, and, you must have a M or SA 2000 approved safety helmet. Four point safety harness are not required, but recommended (Factory seat belts ARE acceptable).
Pricing I think last year was: $125 for a half day, and $175 for a full day. I will check this years pricing.
I will put together a little package to send out to people.
If you are interested, shoot me PM.
