my check engine lamp has come on and stays on although car is running fine,can anyone give me clue what that might be and at what cost.Car has done 31000mls and been serviced regularly,Thanks.

H,
just got car back from mitsibushi dealer and they say that engine needs carbon clean out,throttle mechanism also needs clean plus new injectors.
toal cost £2023.78.So have got rid of it back to brother in law and now back to my trusty Volvo 940 which just passed MOT today.As I was wanting the GDI i changed brake pads and also oil and filters plus gave car good look at but got beat with that light.Also got mitsi to replace drivers mirror and that plus readout cost £220.So all in over weekend i spent over £300 0n car but dare say thats cost of being too trusting,bye
