Hi folks.

Just bought this 99' Carisma 1.8 GDI Sport.

The display in the center panel in the dash dont work. The guy i bought the car from said its maybe a fuse or something.
But i looked at alle the fuses. In the engine bay and down in the panel at the feets at the drivers seat.
No fuses blown. I checked everyone of them to be sure.
But i cannot find and actually fuse for the display itself. I cant see any logo for it.

What do i do? Are there more fuses hiding somewhere?

I want it to work so i can see outdoor temperature, the clock and so on.

Thank you.

hi

does it have the standard radio/cd fitted or an aftermarket one?

might be worth popping the radio out and see if any of the wiring harnesses have been cut,

otherwise its seeing if you can access the display and check its actually connected.

best of luck

sorry missing, there is a fuse box located on the bottom right hand side of the driver foot well, right down the bottom by edge of trim.

Hello Guys,
The light has gone on my Carisma 1.6 equippe centre console, how do you remove it please?
I see a large screw on the passenger side but don't really want to start taking my dash apart unless i really have to!
Cheers
Darrel

The top part of mine, 98 gdi, pulls horizontally forward, it's on four pegs. That get's you access to the clock unit and bulb. Also gives you access to two screws for the top of the center console, the others are located in the space left when you remove the ashtray.

Good luck!
