So, we finally went and bought an Endeavor, Limited AWD. All black, black leather, etc. I actually worked at the plant that makes these in Normal, Illinois, had two internships working on small projects with this SUV.
We are already making lots of little changes....
We bought some used (still brand-new) 22" rims with spinners....unfortunely I don't think they will fit after visiting Les Schawab. That dang coil with the inch clearance is killing it. I wanted to get rid of some of that dead space around the wheel well. So, we are going to sell the 22"s and buy a set of 20's. When a lowering kit comes out, we are going to lower it by about 1.5".
Changed out the stock headlight bulbs to 5000k bulbs. They are white, no hint of blue unfortunately. In the near future, we are going to get an HID kit installed, I want a 13k (exactly what I have on my Mustang GT) but my fiance thinks its TOO blue, she wants a 10k. We'll see.......
Changed the turn signal bulbs front and rear to clear/blue ones. They look sorta blue, at least their not amber.
Some more minor changes comin include changing out all of the interior bulbs from yellowish to Blue....the map light, door panel lights, cargo light, etc. Change the fog lights from yellow to blue...etc
(as you can tell, hate the stock yellow look, going for the blue).
Overall we are pleased with the SUV. I am biased though.
One question I have, hopefully someone knows, where are the turn signal flasher fuses located??? I checked under the dash, and the owners manual shows nothing. We bought some turn signal arros off eBay that you stick on your mirror, but I can't install them yet.

Where did you purchase the blue interior lights? 12V5W-12V8W, can't seem to find short ones like the stock white ones.

For the small wedge lights (like the four located in the dome light) I bought these (http://www.globalpremier.com/194-4-leds-blue.html) I am not 100% sure they will work, but I am pretty sure theyt will. I will recieve them in a few days, so I will post an update here, and some pics. If you search online, it says the dome light needs a DE3175 bulb for the dome, but thats wrong. If you searcn for the licence plate bulbs, it says you need a 168 bulb. I compared the 168 bulb stock to the dome light bulbs, and they both work when swapped, so that leads me to believe these BLUE led bulbs will work. (Hint: These wedge bulbs are also the ones you need to replace the yellow lights udner your dash, that light up your feet.) As for the lowering.....hasn't happened yet. I went by Les Schwab, which is the largest car place here in the NW, and they said there isn't a lowering kit made for the endeavor yet. I am unsure if you can use a generic lowering kit??? My plan is to get it lowered about 1.5". I want it to still ride high, but I want to close that dead space in the wheel well. (Hopefully I can get the picture to attach correctly. If I do, ignore the ghetto chinese buffet sign in the background.....)

Here are pictures of the new LED bulbs I installed on the interior, and turn signal lights. The interior looks GOOD with the blue. The pictures look dark, but its not that dark, and everything has a blue tone to it, the leather seats, floor, etc. Interior dome light = 4bulbs "168"

The cluster of 4 dome lights by the rear view mirror. They are all 168 wedge type? Did you install all four yourself or did you take the reading lights to the dealer to install. If you did the reading lights yourself, how did you get the push lens' out? The rear reading lights and cargo area lights are 8W that clip in, and the curtosy lights by the floor in the door are 5W clip ins right?

Yeah, all four bulbs by the dome light/map lights are the 168 wedge type. For the dome light, you simply pop out the clear cover with a small screwdriver. Then you have access to those two bulbs. Once that clear cover is off, you will see two black screws, they are deep, so you may use a flashlight so you can spot them. Unscrew those two screws.....the whole gray plastic unit will stay in the same spot. It is held in place by two strong metal clips. You have to pull on it, with a little force. Dont be afraid, it wont break at all, theyre just strong metal clips. Dont pull too far though, the wiring harness is connected for the sunroof, and all the wiring. You have about 10" slack, so there's room. Once you get the gray unit off, you will see the two harnesses for the other two bulbs.
This is very easy! No need to go to a dealer, they will do exactly the same.
As for the other lights....
Rear reading lights are 8W, and use the bulb type DE3022 (same as the cargo area).
Courtesy lights on the map pocket of the door are 5W, bulb type DE3175.
They sell those clip ins, with LEDs on eBay. Thats what I ordered to put in.
This whole car interior (as with all cars) are very easy to dissasemble. All it is, is metal and plastic clips holding it together. The clips on the Endeavor are very strong, and wont crack like some older cars.

I finally stopped being lazy and installed the turn signal lights on our mirrors. Here is what they look like.....the pictures are kind of dark. One problem I have though, is since I have all LED's for turn signals, there is no resistance, so the current passes through faster, making them blink about twice as fast as they should. I now have to buy an LED load equalizer, to slow everything back down.
